Hello and welcome to my portfolio page.My name is Leslie J. Gomez I will use this page to showcase the work I have done and the learning I have achieved during English 1C/2C.
First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals:
The first goal that i set for me during this summer class its Practice more the Language that I'm learning.
My second goal is Learn how to form correct sentences.
My third goal is Learn more vocabulary and practice the words.
My fourth goal is Practice my reading.
My fifth goal is to Increase my grades.
Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.
How to Chart a Text:
Read the text.
Mark the text.
Find whats the author is saying and write it on the right side of a t-chart.
Find whats the author doing and write it on the left side of the t-chart.
